Complete & Partial Dentures in Solapur: Eat & Smile with Confidence

Losing teeth doesn't just affect your smile; it changes the way you speak, eat, and look. If you are missing several or all of your teeth, Custom Dentures at Deshpande Dental Care & Implant Centre offer a reliable, non-surgical way to restore your quality of life.

Forget the image of "grandpa's loose teeth." Modern dentistry has evolved. We offer High-Precision BPS Dentures and lightweight partials that fit securely, look natural, and allow you to enjoy your favorite foods again.

Types of Dentures We Offer

We customize the solution based on how many teeth you are missing:

1. Complete Dentures (Full Set)

For patients who have lost all their natural teeth in an upper or lower jaw. These rest on your gums and are held in place by natural suction or dental adhesives.

2. Removable Partial Dentures (RPD)

For patients who still have some healthy teeth. The denture fills the gaps and clasps onto your remaining teeth for stability.

  • Cast Partial Dentures: A sturdy metal framework that is extremely durable and hygienic.
  • Flexible Partials: Made of a nylon-like material without metal clasps for better aesthetics.

3. Implant-Supported Dentures

The ultimate upgrade. We place 2 or 4 dental implants in your jaw, and the denture "snaps" onto them. No slipping, no loose feeling.

Meet Your Specialist: Dr. Varun Deshpande

Making a denture that stays in place is physics, not magic. Dr. Varun Deshpande is an MDS Prosthodontist, a specialist dedicated to the replacement of teeth.

While many dentists struggle with "loose lower dentures," Dr. Varun specializes in BPS (Biofunctional Prosthetic System) protocols.

  • Better Suction: He uses advanced impression techniques to capture the specific muscle movements of your mouth, ensuring the denture stays put when you talk.
  • Facial Support: He designs the denture to "plump up" your lips and cheeks, reducing wrinkles and restoring a youthful profile.
  • Comfort: Proper bite alignment means fewer sore spots on your gums.

The BPS Advantage (Biofunctional Prosthetic System)

We are one of the few clinics in Solapur offering certified BPS Dentures. Unlike standard dentures, BPS dentures are:

  • Made with high-impact, break-resistant materials.
  • Designed using a special jaw-tracking device to mimic your natural chewing.
  • Esthetically superior, with teeth that look like real enamel, not plastic.

The Process: Creating Your New Smile

  1. Primary Impression: We take a preliminary mold of your jaws.
  2. Custom Tray & Border Molding: Dr. Varun records the precise movements of your cheek and tongue muscles to define the denture borders. This is the secret to good retention.
  3. Jaw Relation (Bite Registration): We measure how your jaws come together to ensure your face height is restored correctly.
  4. Trial (Wax Try-in): You try on the teeth set in wax. You can check the look, speech, and bite before the final denture is made.
  5. Delivery: You receive your final polished dentures along with instructions on care and eating.

Rediscover the joy of chewing. Visit Deshpande Dental Care & Implant Centre (Civil Chowk, Antrolikar Nagar, Jule Solapur) for a consultation with Dr. Varun Deshpande.

Frequently Asked Questions

Regular dentures are made using standard measurements and can sometimes feel loose or look 'flat.' BPS Dentures are premium prosthetics made using high-quality materials and sophisticated jaw-tracking instruments. They offer superior fit, better chewing efficiency, and are much harder to break.

A well-made denture should not fall out. Dr. Varun uses 'Border Molding' techniques to ensure the edges of the denture sit perfectly in the muscle-neutral zone. If you have severe bone loss, we may recommend Implant-Supported Dentures for 100% stability.

We recommend removing them at night. Your gums need to breathe and rest from the pressure of the denture. Soaking them in water or a cleaning solution overnight also keeps them clean and hydrated.

It typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. At first, you may produce more saliva and have minor difficulty speaking. This is normal. As your muscles adapt, the denture will feel more natural. We recommend reading out loud to practice speech.

Dentures typically last 5 to 7 years. Over time, your jawbone naturally shrinks (resorbs), which makes the denture loose. You may need a 're-lining' procedure to tighten them, or eventually a replacement.

With BPS or Implant-supported dentures, yes. With standard dentures, you may need to cut hard food into small pieces. We advise chewing on both sides of the mouth simultaneously to keep the denture stable.

For replacing 1 or 2 teeth, flexible partials (Valplast) are excellent because they don't have metal hooks and are very comfortable. However, for replacing many teeth, a Cast Metal Partial is often healthier for the gums.

Brush them daily with a soft brush and denture cleaner (not regular toothpaste, which is too abrasive). Rinse them after every meal to remove food particles.
